Osteoporosis Support Group
A support group that meets the 3rd Wednesday of every month at the Comox Valley Nursing Centre, 961 England Avenue, Courtenay. Meeting time is 11.30 to 1.pm. Guest speakers are often present providing informational talks.

Hospice Society
Support for people caring for the terminally ill, including emotional support, respite care, information; resources; and nursing needs assessment. Grief support, assessment, referral and information, support groups for widows/widowers, people affected by suicide, people affected by Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, other support groups can be arranged as needed. Community education about caring for the terminally ill (palliative care) and bereavement.
